Blast from the Past II

Here is another one, also sent from Rhandy who apparently is an X-Men fan heh. Anyway, thanks Rhandy for shooting these on over. These were done before the days of digital cameras and camera phones and I recall doing a ton of sketches back in the old days. I shudder to think how many of these are out there...don't get me wrong, I love finding them. It's just sometimes, the wonky drawing makes my stomach turn. The ones from this era finished by Whilce actually turned out the nicest. His superior drawing skills really pulled em together.

Here's a tighter shot.

This is an awesome image Jim! Awesome. The work created by you and Whilce on the Punsher in the late 80's were the comics that influenced me the most. And this image is bringing back those awesome memories.

Really great work man! Thanks for sharing.

The Psylocke redesign was one o' the best make-overs EVER in comic book history IMO. That psychic knife "focused totality of [her] telepathic powers" stuff was just beautiful. Lady Mandarin was killer and that ninja bikini... woooo... it was a wrap. :]

Peace...

The Psylocke redesign is what kept me hooked on Uncanny X-Men. Great memories.
