Long Beach 10'

[Oliver]

Hey ya'lls, here are a few pre-done pieces I did to sell at the Long Beach Comic-Con this weekend. It was a fun show last year and I'm really looking forward to it again. I'll be sitting with my fellow studiomates JJ Kirby, Livio Ramondelli, Ed Nunuz, Carlos D'Anda, and Mike Lopez. Hope to see you there. ;)

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

[KRB]

UPDATE: Wonder Woman.

These cardboard pieces have been piling up in the studio lately, so in an effort to recycle, I did these two sketches. I hope you nice people dig them and come hit me up at the Long Beach Comic Con this weekend.

Hellboy + Wolverine + Paris burning =

[Oliver]

Hey ya'lls, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! It was nice having all those days off...not to relax but to catch up on commissions!

I've been working on this piece on and off for awhile now and finally finished this weekend, thnx for the patient fan in France, you know who you are.

I did have a lot of fun with this and it was a bit challenging...I've never 'really' tackled Wolverine or Hellboy before, wouldn't that make a great comic?

Anyhoo, hope u like and untill next time!

Wolvie and Kitty

[Kirbizzle]

I did this for a friend's sketchbook, so I wanted to do a playful piece on Wolvie and Kitty's dynamic. It's a love/hate thing.

PEACE.

Carlitos Toy Fund!!!

[Carlitos]

Hey y'alls, all of us here at the studio are 'revvin' the engines' with both fear and happiness at the inevitable arrival of the Con... a few more days and BOOM... madness starts once again! (^_^)

Anyway, I had a few days without nutty deadlines so it gave me time to work on a few pieces before the show, and yup, they are all available for sale for anyone interested in giving to the 'Carlitos Toy Fund' some umhhh.... well, funds! ...I will have all these with me at the show if you're interested.

peace,

Carlitos.

p.s. The 'Hulk vs. Thing' piece still needs a liiiiittle bit more work, but you get the idea! :)

SNIKT, I say!!! SNIKT!!!!

[Carlitos]

Hey y'alls, how's it going!?! ...maaaaan, I can't believe it's time for the San Diego Comic-Con again?!? ...where the hell does the time go?!? The Con is one of those 'love hate' things for me. It's four, non-stop days of insanity, BUT it's also a 'family reunion' of sorts for people in the industry, so it's always really cool to reconnect with friends (both professionals and fans) during those four days.

Another really cool thing about hanging out in 'artist's alley' is seeing what the other Pros brought with 'em, the new prints, new sketchbooks, shirts, etc.  I always look forward to seeing what the 'Big Guns' bring: Arthur Adams, Mignola, Jason Pearson, Adam Hughes, Dave Johnson etc., but there is always the brand new 'hidden jewel' you find, that's the BEST. Robert Valley was one of those finds for me...one of these guys whose work is AMAZING, just not very known in comic-dom. One of these people that make you think about drawing from a totally different perspective!!! So here's to finding that 'hidden jewel' at this upcoming show!!!

...Oh yeah, this here is a good ol' 'Weapon X' I just finished for a very patient fan! ...Hope you dig it Michael! :)

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

[Eddy]

Michael Lopez stepped in with his deadly DJ skills and added the beats, after the background noise got a little disjointed after editing.

Hope everyone enjoys Memorial Day weekend!

Homage

[Nuñez]

Hello everyone, here's a commission I did over the weekend. I was asked to do an homage of Jim's Uncanny X-Men #268 cover. The crazy thing about doing this piece was that the layout was already there, yet trying to get it right was still a little tricky for me.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the turnout of this piece and it was really fun to do. I just hope the fan enjoys it as much as I did. :)

Peace out.
