Both are great, love the shadows on Carlos sketch, but i like the action in Cammo, and the background rendering plus the foreshortening just make the guy pops out, I'm going with Cammo.
This was a really tough decision this time around. Love the detail and shadows in Carlos' sketch, but there's something that draws me to Giuseppe's. It could be the fact that there is so much action, yet minimal lines are used. This one has my vote!
This ones action is awesome!
I likes this one mucho.
Now this piece has action! I love the background and the clean lines.
The others said it already: action! The other one has an espionage, Metal Gear Solid thing going for it, but I'd be more interested in a book with this on the cover as opposed to the other drawing.
At first I was gonna vote for Carlos, because his pic grabbed me right away --But after closer inspection, this one has become my favorite, and it really captures the character. I like the simple, clean style.I vote for Giuseppe :)
I'll admit that I'm not really too familiar with the character. I know some of his background but what became of him in the books is something I dont know much about. So my intended argument of D'Anda's looking too much like a generic secret ops character, probably wont hold much weight. So based on formal elements, Giuseppe wins my vote. Very dynamic and engaging, nice use of the background and edges of the page.
Cammo gets mine. Both I absolutely love, but I just get more of a "Grifter" vibe offa Cammo's.
i love the action, my vote is for Cammo
Ovviamente sono ambedue fantastici, però preferisco il Grifter di Cammo per la potenza che esprime! Giuseppe spero di diventare un fumettista bravo come te!Grandi!/Simone
As much as I like the detail in Carlos' art, I just have to go with Camuncoli on this one. His clean, yet accented style is perfect for Grifter. Not only do the detailed lines on the gloves, belt and suit look good, I am sure they would really lend themselves over for some nice coloring.Cammos ... great job on showing us what Grifter is all about!
YEs liked!!! it's much action!!!
Not even close ... :)Cammo gets my vote
this one gets my vote. nice clean lines. carlos' version is a character i don't recognize -- just like his version of outsiders ;-).
I love the feel of this one better. It pose and the energy is great on it.
Gotta go with this one. Guns blazing, just the way hi would. In the snow no less. Both peices are awesome! I really like the art of the other one more, yet this piece captures who Grifter is more fully in my eyes.
Good job. You get my vote.
Cammo gets my nod. Great work, both of you.
As much as I love D'Anda's work (eversince I read the Alan Moore story he illustrated,) I have to go with Guisseppi just because his image captures lotsof vibrant action whereas Carlos' work here is static and not as exciting to this longtime admirer of the gunslinger. Now, how about some western Iron Cheifs?
Holy crap what a hard choice! I gotta give it up for 'Los, but my vote goes to Giuseppe. Just an awesome scene, expertly rendered, just great.-- Jonathan
this pic 'BLAZES' with action! and gets my vote, even though it's way too late...
I had to vote Cammo's!!We italians help each other,right...?
Cammo's got the ammo on this one! I vote for him.
whoa, these are both fantastic and hard to believe both were done in an hour... I gotta go with Giuseppe's: super tight lines, awesome action, cool background fx... and it made do a double-take on first glance. Carlos' work is unbelievable, just didn't capture the spirit of Grifter in the same way as this one. wow.
I vote for this one, I love his dynamism!
My vote goes for cammo, his piece has more action, movement..and also i think capture the real Grifter's spirit
!!! Cammo Rules.
I'm into the slick lines of Cammo's entry.
i love both of them, but this one appeals to what i always loved about grifter--full throttle, guns-a-blazing action! more! more!
fresh & clean!
Cammo win! A big cheers from Munich Bro!Boris
