Bigup Koi, rock on! This one seems more like a battle whereas the other one, while still a very nice pic, seems more like just before the battle, this one captures the clash of these titans.

While Carlos' pic looks more "finished" Koi's has such a dynamic feel to it that it just edges out Carlos.

Very Powerful. Turnbull's work has intensity and character interaction that I'm not feeling with Carlos'.
My vote goes to Koi.
This one's going to Koi. Carlos has a more detailed and recognizable Darkseid but Koi has the theme down and is more dynamic looking I think.
I vote for Koi's piece. It has a lot of movement and emotion. Carlos' looks good, except the Silver Surfer seems out of place, just floating there, and it's a little hard to tell what's going on.

Tough competition this time around... Koi's seems to have much more energy and action. Although I prefer the Darkseid of Carlos' piece, his Silver Surfer looks like he's waitin' for the bus or something... So Koi gets my vote for an action-packed sketch. Nice job to both of you!
I really like Koi's because of the dynamic depiction. I must say that D'anda's Darkseid is much better and the heavy use of blacks is very striking. I still think that as a complete composition Koi's has a better feel. The energy shared between Surfer and Darkseid creates a conflict that creates a winning piece of art in my mind. Good job to both, though.
I'd say this baby is tied up 1-1, Koi gets my vote for this one!!!More, more, more!!!!

This time i had to vote "against" Carlos...Koi's work seems to me more dynamic and energetic...!

I got give it up for Koi - the pure energy of the piece puts it on top. Carlos's Darkseid is really cool - specially with the use of the blacks. If the pieces were colored I think Koi's would just work better. Great job to both!

Well, I love the action and movment in Koi's pic. Only grip is that both entries gave him ears----small detail, but that's kinda what makes Silver. All in all, I liked the moment of Koi's
