Thought I'd comment on tomorrow night's showdown! The hometown Chargers vs. my team, the Steelers! Now I'm not one to make predictions, but..... I think my boys are gonna take this one! Not only are they practically perfect on monday nights, but they'll have The Bus, and Deuce back! Sadly though however, living in San Diego as long as I have, the Chargers have become my second favorite team. I even got to meet Ladanian Tomlinson at the local Applebees, lol! It was kinda funny because he wasn't even getting any special treatment. I mean here's arguably the best running back in the NFL, and he's outside of Applebee's waiting to be seated alongside me! He was very cool, very humble, great guy! So for me tomorrow night's going to be a BLAST!

Some other updates... We may be moving our next Iron Chef up a day. Not sure yet but just maybe. I'll post tomorrow just to confirm. Also I'm going to be bringing a new Chef into the forray for our third battle. Should have the announcement soon! Other than that, hope all is well, peace!

Chargers all the way! Steelers have been my one of my favorites for a long time, even have a bus jersey, but there is no way that LT is not going to run to the promise land in his 17th straight game! And when you are SD born and raised, you always have blinders on, I am looking for a upset two weeks in a row for the chargers to go in and dominate!

Final Score 38-24 CHARGERS!

And on a side note, where have you been Alé? Our football field misses that golden arm of yours!

I had my brush with Tomlinson. I was in line behind him at Petco. He was getting dog food. The guy checking out was so star struck he messed up big time, and really wasted LT's time. Ran the credit card, messed up the transaction, had to do it all over again. Funny thing was, after LT went out, someone called and wanted to speak with the manager. When we went out to the parking lot, we saw LT in his White Navigator on the cell phone. I wonder if it was LT calling. Curiously enough I haven't seen that guy working at Petco since. A friend of mine works for FedEx and has delivered to LT at his home. My mother used to work at the Popey's in Mira Mesa, and LT would come through the drive thru every once in a while. The young guys would fall all over themselves to be the one that gave him his food. He is a really nice guy. Now my question is, would that be the Applebees's in Mira Mesa?

I too am conflicted this day in football. Born and raised here in SD, I am Rah! Rah! Chargers, but I am also fan of Roethlisberger, and I want to see him do well. If the Chargers can stick to their run and pass to LT program, then the Chargers have a chance, if they don't I see Steelers on top.

Get ready to have your team Rocked by the Chargers and L.T. all night long Mr. Garza. As I am a very dedicated charger fan I cast failure to your Stealers and hope they cry after the loss on ESPN.

So I will shut up now, Damn it was a good game. So the steelers are the team to beat it looks like, but the chargers where a two point conversion short. Damn the man.

The BUS keeps moving, Alé stays happy, works more, books come out, fans are happy. The world is right...

Or...

The BUS keeps moving, David is depressed, books ship black and white. The world is right....

sorry about Roethlisberger, I like him too, been rooting for him not to lose ever (except against Chargers, been 5 straight now, gahhh!). Hopefully a couple days, one week tops with out him, I HOPE!

And when you get on that field again, we will see how those spin classes are compared to my walks to the donut shop.
