I like the layout. I'm interested to see the context within the story for this image.

Rad, it's Plastic Man! Is this your first time drawing him? I can't recall another occasion.

Great stuff.

For whatever reason I keep getting Supermans right leg jumps behind his left.

Maybe because his near leg lit very flat on - and his far leg is lit by just a sliver?

Could be the lines at his feet. One of the rubble lines looks like it would be a shadow.

The art in this issue is great but...Am I the only one who thinks Frank Miller's characterizations are kinda whacked? I like his writing most of the time unfortunately I'm not feeling a laughing Batman, a man hating Wonder Woman, and a holier-than-thou Superman.

I had to close the book 3-4 different times, separately to rock myself in laughter @ the Wonder Woman scenes; and shake my head in amazement @ the gorgeous artwork I've missed for months. Had to let it all sink in, especially w/ Bats' splash pages.

I'm officially done tryna make sense of Mr. Miller's intent w/ the characterization and I'm just hysterically laughin' my @$$ off like Bats @ this point. I'm just lettin' it be and I'm thoroughly entertained doin' so.

Thanks, Jim! #6 can't come fast enough!!

Peace...

YES!!!!! It's out!

I think this wonder woman makes sense. Other writers have the amazons refer to the rest of earth as "man's world" but they're relatively nonplussed by, y'know, men. They should kinda be crazy and stuff--I mean more so than the average woman.

I like the classic look. Looks titee. Oh, and how can you not like a batman book with f-in plastic man!

...i commented on your myspace, but don't know if you look there often, so... Your colorist really (in my opinion) hurt your art. when seeing this piece a few weeks ago i was BOWLED over in anticipation, upon seeing it in print i actually passed the page it was on when going through quickly. I'm no colorist, but i just wanted to say that i LOVE your art, your detail and construction FLOOR me whenever you post here. I think the colors muted your beautiful lines...
that said, DEAREST CRAP you dominate. i can't wait for the next gelometti sketchbook, i bought 3 last year!!!
