This is awesome. It's been great seeing the progress on this piece. It also packs a lot of nostalgia for me! I wouldn't mind seeing more Jim Lee X-men some day, the characters could use a bit of an energy/awesomeness boost.
Oh that brings back memories. I've had to take a lot of time out of developing my career lately, but your run on X-men was the reason I picked up a pencil, Jim.

Homina... homina... homina!
Rogue was always my fave of the X-Men. Thanks for sharing your elite skills with the world, man!
„... as a warmup.“ ;-) Man, I love your work.

Very cool...was waiting to see the finished pencils. Was looking at the old book myself. Do you still have the ink version?
Am I the only one that got a kick out of a Marvel character (Rogue) being drawn on a DC labeled art board? ;)

Yeah, the 80's rocked.
Great piece; I'd love to take a shot at inking this.
Oh snap! Is Scott Williams going to get to ink this beauty? Loved it way back in UXM #269, and falling in love all over again now =)
I love your work.
Very cool...
X-Men = Jim Lee 'nuff said
