Wizard World Chicago 2007 - Sketchbooks!

[Eddy]

Just when I've fully recovered from the big and sunny San Diego Comic-Con, it's off to the windy and humid Wizard World Chicago! Unfortunately, none of the other guys from the studio could make it out to the show, but I've brought a little something from each of them along for the ride.

Besides the already mentioned "Gelatometti: Best of the Blog" sketchbook, I'll also have Jim Lee's very own "All Star Sketchbook" with me too. It's pure Jim Lee. Signed by Jim Lee. And numbered to just a measly 1500 copies.

Plus, I'll also have sketchbooks by Carlos D'Anda, JJ Kirby, Michael Lopez, Oliver Nome, Lee Bermejo and a few PH4 sketchbooks featuring Bermejo, D'Anda, Richard Friend and Ale Garza! That's a total of EIGHT sketchbooks all available at one Artist's Alley table.

You can find me sharing a booth with Joe "Que Pasa?" Benitez at table 3010 in the first row of Artist's Alley.

Stop by to say "Hi," like a few fans from the blog did today (Hi Yano!), and pick up a sketchbook or two, or three, or all eight!

And for everyone who couldn't make it out to either of these two conventions, you snooze, you lose. =(

Juuust kidding. =)

I'll have them all available right here on this blog in the near future. Just as soon as I've fully recovered from these shows.

Thanks!

Eddy,

How much are sketchbooks going for these days. I've heard anywhere from $20 to $40 dollars.

I definitely would love to get a copy of the SD sketchbook, as well as Jim's All Star one when they become available! :)

Happy birthday, Jim!

I was out celebrating mine as well last night. Happy Birthday to the others of us born on the illustrious day of the 11th including Jerry Falwell, Joe Rogan, Ali Shaheed Muhammad (of A Tribe Called Quest fame, in case you don't know), Steve Wozniak, and of course Terry the Hulk Hogan!

And many more, Jim, I hope you had a good one.

I'd love to place an order right now for the Jim Lee book and JJ Kirby. I got some of the other ones at SDCC. Looking foward to when they are available here.

Eddy, since I am going to be unable to make it to SDCC is there an alternative way of getting Jim's sighned sketchbook?

Hi Eddy! It was great to meet you last weekend! My sister and I were going to get more sketchbooks (I was low on cash on Friday!) but we weren't able to make it back to the table, so I'll definitely be buying some more.

Mork-just enjoy your Jim Lee Sketchbook Limited Edition and smile bro! The packeed assortment of artwork, production values, and the keepsake memento should be enough for any fan who got one at the convention. Eddy, nor any of the artists from this blog OWE autographs or signatures, and implying that this is really OUT THERE. if you don't dig the sketchbook, do what many folks who attend the SD Con do and put the swag up on ebay. I'm sure there are tons of people who would jump at the chance to get one.

I would definetly be interested in the sketchbook that is unsigned. Let me know how to get it.
