"It's Gettin' Hot In Here..."

[Oliver]

Hey ya'lls, hope everybody's holidays are going good.

Anyhoo, I just read 'X-Infernus' and was inspired to do this piece of Illyana Rasputin in her Darkchild form. I luv her look and design and like I said the last time I posted a piece I did of her, I'm glad she's making her long overdue comeback.

I've included my light pencils, half way through the inks and the final. Hope you like!

NOME, this came out badass dude. When are you gonna draw comics?

Thnx, anonymous for the nice comment:) Hopefully early next year, like I've told others before, my main job and focus is on designing DC Online's MMO. I've done a few things here and there and have some things already in the works and completed, as for my very first title, hopefully soon!

Thanks for showing the stages of your drawing. I always like to see the penciling stage and then how you refine it as you get to the end product. Great work.

Oliver,
Nice work on the Darkchilde! Always instructive to see the stages, too.

She looks more like Nick Manabat's Cybernary than Illyana Rasputin. This is how I hoped Pete Woods would draw her. Regardless, it is still an excellent pinup.

It's refreshin' to see your roughs as I mostly see your finished work. W/o readin', I thought the rough was done by J. Scott Campbell @ first. A very high compliment from me to you!

Peace...

thnx Meek! J. Scott is one of my all time faves and to be compared to him even the slightest bit is a huge compliment:)

Very nice work. Love the art in the new X-Infernus mini series with her.
I like this look but I wouldn't mind bringing back a more human look with the silver armor like in the 80s.

Definitely you left me without words with this wonderful design, I mean, not even Levitra has done a job like this one. it's simply mind-blowing.
