Rain Man

Rain Man Originally uploaded by Gelatomettista2.

More files found on a CD which I burned when I last back in Reggio. This was done for a friend. Mixed media...pencils, inks, graywash and of course, whiteout. Forgot to sign this one before the scan! Didn't want you Batman fans to get too envious of all the Superman stuff I posted...

Must... become... friends... with... Jim... Must... become...

Oh I'm sorry, was off in my own little world there! I love your Batman, Jim.

Wow Jim very cool. I always love your Batman stuff. You always seem to capture the feeling of Batman with out making him too overly grim.

$10 for that cd.

A couple questions:

1. Other than the ones for the Jenny Sparks CBLDF piece, are there any other video files in the blog?

2. Any way you could do a video file of a watercolor piece?

Thanks Jim -

I like this take on Batman a lot, he seems 'thinner' than how you usually portray him. and the way you made the cape look 'wet' from the rain, very nice.

Very nice sketch...I like the logo on his chest. I can never make that logo look right to me. I usually do the small logo in the circle or oval, but Jim usually places that logo where it looks good. The head and cowl look really nice in this piece too.

Anyways, I'd love to see a book someday fully illustrated by Jim. Even just a black and white would be great (like the Batman short in Batman: Black & White.)

God Bless,
Jeremy

Great stuff Jim. this year i almost met you in Angouleme but you looked real busy so i decided not to bother you, anyway since i´m in Europe and going to the States is kind of expensive i´ll leave a link for you guys to take a look at my stuff, if possible of course, at http://nunoplati.blogspot.com

Hope you enjoy it, and feel free to contact me at nunoplati@gmail.com

All the best with your future projects

yo,
just what dc said, that's the first thing i noticed about this piece....batman looks a lot thinner than usual and i must say i like this a lot. hey jim i think i've written this before too....just sort of a request.
IF u ever get the time, could u just do a piece where some band is playing a song. IF u get the time that is. Meanwhile even if u keep posting ur old stuff ill take it with both hands. Keep it up.
cheers,
shaan
