Serenity

[Lopez]

Howdy folks, well, here is a commission I did for Lane Terasaki. They are characters from "Serenity." I never watched the show, but after doing the sketch, I'll have to check it out.

The piece was all done with an ebony pencil. It took a while to do too, working off and on. Realistic stuff is more time consuming for me, but it's always rewarding to see the piece all finished.

I LOVED THAT SHOW. See the movie Firefly after you finish the series. You got the female character pretty good. The male character... something is off. He doesn't usually look like he's pouting.

good job on the sketch...yeah the show is actually called "firefly" and then the movie is called "serenity"..i'm sure you'll love and will start cursing at why there aren't anymore eps...

Just as someone mentionned the female Character is close to the one of Firefly/Serenity but the male guy kind of looks like Mulder and not really the firefly guy.
But For the drawings they are really good , I really seeing that kind of sketchs nice renditions on the shirt and arms.

That series was great and the movie too! I'm pissed I caught it after it was already taken off the air.
I remember the first time I saw the show thinking the character Inarra looked like a Lopez girl.
Sweet piece brudda!
