The blog's been a little quiet lately, but that's only because we've all been super busy getting ready for our first gallery show at the Athenaeum, here in La Jolla. The show's up from June 21 - July 26 and to help add a personal touch to the event, the guys from the studio are even drawing on the walls themselves!
Keep checking back for more pics of the event and be sure to stop by next Friday, June 27 from 6:30 - 8:30pm for the Opening Reception!
And once it ends, who knows what'll happen to these walls?

This looks like a lot of fun. Any chance that someone is shooting some video of this for the blog?
How can we peel off the first layers of the walls!? Tragic.
Thats looks fun to draw on walls. :)
Can't wait to check it out in person! Hope to see most if not all of the Wildstorm crew!

Great wall paintings!
Anyone know if the gallery allows still or video cameras? I'd love to take some photos and possibly film the reception with the Wildstorm crew in attendance! Looking forward to the event this Friday!!!

Admission is FREE and it's located at 1008 Wall Street, La Jolla, CA 92037. The venue is called the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library and can be reached at (858) 454-5827. The website for the the library can be found at www.LJAthenaeum.org and as far as I know, this is the first involving the comic book industry.
The exhibit runs into Comic=Con until July 26th, so check it out!
I want to say thanks to all the great Wildstorm artists on hand for the opening. It was great to rub elbows with you guys.
JJ: Always a pleasure to talk with you my man. Can't wait to get that Omni piece your doing for me bud, but I will be patient. **twiddles thumbs**
Carlos: Awesome to meet you and get a pic of you at the showing. Loved your run on Deathblow though I am still freaked out by the talking dogs. LOL.
Michael: Nice to finally meet you in person as well. Love your work and the commission you are hooking me up with is going to rock. I just know.
Jim: To think the comic book art god of my generation introduces himself as just "Jim." Awesome. Thanks for the picture as well.
Sorry I didn't meet Eduardo Nunez and I just got a quick handshake with Oliver Nome, but you guys all kick ass. :D
