Continuing the cross-company concept (try saying that three times fast), here's a triptych by Ryan Benjamin teaming up the WildStorm Universe with a couple characters from DC.
This piece started off as a single 11" x 17" board with Batman and Deathblow and quickly grew into a full-blown assault team as Ryan got a chance to draw his favorites from both companies. Gotta feel sorry for whoever they're hunting down!

O.O
Uhh... yeah, okay... put every comic this dude draws from this point forward on my pull list.
I was wonderin' if we were ever gon' be able to see this piece! :D Mr. Benjamin killed it... the sketches in the 'Metti Sketchbook were already tops... but this... this just murdered...
I'm just blown away.
Peace...
This should go down as one of the greatest penciled illustrations in comic book history or art history for that matter. I was aleady blown away by the Batman/Deathblow but I damn near had a heart attack when I saw this posted in Ryan's DA account.
I wonder what is he working on next. Can someone drop a hint cause I know you Wildstorm cats got something up your sleeves?
this piece looks awesome. I really loved the Phantom Guard Books, Ryan did in the 90´s, and the new stuff he is doing looks even better.
love it ;)
Best,
Sedat
This really is a great piece. What's Ryan working on right now? I'd love to see more of his stuff.
Hey guys, Thanks for all the compliments. I really appreciate any comment posted, constuctive or critical. I'm just here drawing all day long. I'm warming up for the next project coming up. Working next to Jim and the rest of the guys only pumps me up to draw too. Cheeks is one of my inspirations btw. We usually meet together to draw and soak up info from each other. Although his style is more toony than mine, but its amazing. Check him out at http://cheeks-74.deviantart.com/ ... As far as Deathblow's arm. Yeah, it looks inflated but DB is a huge MoFo and I did it on purpose. Keep the comments coming!!
Thanks
Ryan
Yo... is Cheeks the one that did that "Ghetto Lounge" piece? That joint was hot!! I remember that yurrs ago right around the time Kaare Andrews was blowin' up.
Lookin' forward to yo' next project, Ryan! Especially after seein' this triptych. It's bound to be sick...
Peace...
hey, I was wondering, do you have the original format or something that its big enough for me to try and print it out on a 11x 8 page, to ink in my own way for portfolio? Let me know if this is available, I would love to ink this piece.
Thanks, Tyler
