Please check out the DC and Sony Online Entertainment booths for Jim Lee's signing times.
This will be my ninth year at Comic-Con and I'm looking forward to seeing J. Scott Campbell's new calendar and Drew Struzan's Walking Dead poster and of course, the fan reaction to the upcoming DC Universe Online game. It's gonna be huge!
What are you all interested in seeing the most this year?

Brightest Day & Iron Saint
Hey all, just wanted to update everyone on some new stuff I have coming up. I just wrapped-up the huge undertaking of collaborating with Ryan Sook, and Fernando Passarin on 12 Brightest Day alternate covers, and man, is it exciting to see this coming together! I don't think I've collaborated on anything at this scale, and excitedly look forward to finally seeing the covers printed, which will span several of DC Comic's top titles, look for that beginning in August.
I will also be working on back-up stories for the four issue mini-series "Telara Chronicles," based on the PC game Rift: The Planes of Telara, available in September.
Lastly, before I started here at WildStorm, Francis Manapul and I worked on a mini-series originally printed by Aspen Comics called "Iron and the Maiden." Above, is an establishing shot from issue 2. It's one of the coolest, most over-the-top projects I got to collaborate on (thanks to Jason Rubin) and is now being collected by Top Cow Productions, available at SDCC 2010 with a new title: "Iron Saint!!"
Be sure to swing by the Top Cow booth, where creator Jason Rubin (Crash Bandicoot, and Jak & Daxter) will be signing copies on Friday & Saturday, be sure and tell 'em Joel sent ya!

Comic-Con's Coming!
Hey ya'lls, soooo, it's almost Comic-Con time again! Can't wait for all the hysteria and sensory overload! Also, looking forward to meeting new peeps and all you loyal and supportive fans;)
As the clock is ticking, us artists here at WildStorm are scrambling to get ready, usually right down to the wire. I just decided to do another brand new piece for this year's show too.
I picked on one of my faves, Death, a regular character that I love to draw, which has been spotlighted here on this blog on more than five or six occasions. I've included the quick pencils and the final image, minus text. Hope you like and see ya in a few weeks!

X-MEN!
Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I posted anything, but this is an X-Men piece I did recently with the X-guys going at it against the Sentinels. I played around with Cyclops' outfit a bit, but it's mostly their old-school costumes from when I used to read them.
I wanted to go for an action moment, but still show them all off, so tilting the angle really helped with that. Maybe next time I'll do a similar piece with the X-girls.
Hope ya'll digz.

Kid Flash
Hey all,
just wanted to share a fun sketch I did yesterday that I was blown away with by the amazing colors of Beth Sotelo. She knocked it outta the park.
Hope everyone has a fantastic fourth!
