Great job Francis. The guys told me I could vote on this one(first time ever) and I told them I'd be honest and vote for whichever piece I liked the best (of course) I really like this one. People could argue it's the colored paper but for me it's just the drawing, the layout, and the quote was funny. I checked it out twaeking the color and it made no difference.

Everyone came through! But I had to narrow it down to Misters D'Anda and Manapul... and I gotta ultimately choose Manapul... not just 'cause I'm a sucka' for toned paper and process, but the humor really pulled it all together.
i still can't believe these are done in one hour... awesome.
i think hellboy probably lends himself to the edgier styles, so this was close for me between d'anda's and manapul's. i have to go with this one, though all of them were, again, fantastic.
wow i cant believe he drew this in an hr(but the toned paper was not fair) I mean i knew he was fast, but looking at it just dont seem possible. Hats off to all of them, but FJM kicked major ass....He knows how big a fan I am of jim lee's work but i think even jim would've lost this one.
