This was a really tough decision this time around. Love the detail and shadows in Carlos' sketch, but there's something that draws me to Giuseppe's. It could be the fact that there is so much action, yet minimal lines are used. This one has my vote!
The others said it already: action! The other one has an espionage, Metal Gear Solid thing going for it, but I'd be more interested in a book with this on the cover as opposed to the other drawing.
As much as I like the detail in Carlos' art, I just have to go with Camuncoli on this one. His clean, yet accented style is perfect for Grifter. Not only do the detailed lines on the gloves, belt and suit look good, I am sure they would really lend themselves over for some nice coloring.
Cammos ... great job on showing us what Grifter is all about!
Gotta go with this one. Guns blazing, just the way hi would. In the snow no less. Both peices are awesome! I really like the art of the other one more, yet this piece captures who Grifter is more fully in my eyes.
As much as I love D'Anda's work (eversince I read the Alan Moore story he illustrated,) I have to go with Guisseppi just because his image captures lotsof vibrant action whereas Carlos' work here is static and not as exciting to this longtime admirer of the gunslinger. Now, how about some western Iron Cheifs?
whoa, these are both fantastic and hard to believe both were done in an hour... I gotta go with Giuseppe's: super tight lines, awesome action, cool background fx... and it made do a double-take on first glance. Carlos' work is unbelievable, just didn't capture the spirit of Grifter in the same way as this one. wow.
