[Michael]Hello everyone, I thought i'd give the gray markers a whirl this time, instead of the brown toned paper I do on a lot of my commissions, for Zatanna here. It's fun going in there with makers and makes for a quicker piece.
At first, I had her pulling the Atom out of her hat, but eventually I went with something a little more playful. It's also my first time drawing her so I hope it looks okay, hope you dig it!
See ya next time, Mike.
Whew! With legs like that ... I'd like to see some Chun-Li action from you. Love the piece!
ReplyDeleteThe markers really lend a 3-dimensional look to it. I need to pick up some new markers...Nice work on this one.
ReplyDeleteStunning, as usual.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI have been visiting your blog for almost 2years now. But never found the right moment to leave a comment or appreciate the great work you guys are doing. But I just couldn't contain myself after checking out your sketch. AMAZING!! The markers indeed make the sketch look more 3d. This is my very first comment in your blog, and just would like to say, 'keep up the great work'.
Thanks Danny that is a real compliment, and thanks for checking out the blog! we try to post new stuff pretty regularly. yeah, i really like vthe markers a lot, you can get some really nice blends with them, thanks again, mike.
ReplyDeleteGreat work with the markers on this one. Such a great job and who can doubt that she has legs that go on for miles.
