I also like the use of the word "balloons" as they are really integrated into the composition. Example - the gun firing panel where the balloon is cut into the panel.
Wow, thanks for posting that! I have the best of C&H and some other collections and I don't remember this noir storyline at all. Gotta dig them up again.
