the thought of ww providing the entry for wolvie to destroy does it for me. jim's piece is 'fuller' but jeff's uses both characters and created more 'story' for me.
GO JSC! This is a lot more energetic of the pieces. Who cares if Jim Lee can churn out a done-looking panel in an hour, this is a much more interesting layout and if finished I'd rather see this one given the complete job over Jim's. Though I like both, naturally. :)
Plus, it was an unfair advantage! Jim Lee's drawn both of those characters before. JSC had to start from scratch. ;)
Sorry, Mr. Lee... But J. Scott wins this one by a hair. The More balanced composition (wolvie left-to-right in the foreground pointing downwards, WW facing left and moving upwards) is what tips the scale.
People who picked Lee's pic over Campbells have got it wrong. Sure Lee put a sentinel in there but it looks like he did the whole piece in 30 minutes instead of an hour. I think Lee should of stuck with pencils like Campbell did to keep it fair and even in every way. Judging by what we see as far as aesthetics go---Campbell's piece is superior. It is just as dynamic but beautifully rendered. Besides, Campbell also has the suggestion that there was a sentinel there, that should be enough. Both wolverine and woderwoman look so much more exciting in Campbells version, so new and so fresh. Lee's versions pale in comparison to his earlier wolverines by alot. Sorry Lee, Campbell should win this match.
Lee's is good but Campbell's is better. Lee's Wolverine has a weird expression on his face. Cover his mouth and look at his head and now cover his eyes and look at the mouth area, see what I mean? Campbell's has more punch to it eventhough it is a simpler design. I know that Lee will probably win because of all the kids that worship him but if you study both pics you would pic Campbell.
This piece looks great. Wolverine seems to really be popping out of the picture towards you,and I like how Wonder Woman is using her hands to destroy the sentinel rather than her lasso. Also it's fresh to see Jeff drawing Wolverine and WW, since I think we've gotten used to Jim's interpretation.
i WANT more...sentinel that is! otherwise i think wolvie looks great...but wonder woman looks ok(compared to the last time he did her?) remember that...oh no sorry that was MAD. GET him to do one of these...and travis! thx
Ive been looking at these since Friday and now I'm still gonna be 10 minutes late for work cause of it. I gotta give up to both but I'm writing it on Mr. Campbell's side.

Even if there is no sentinel J.S. Campbell have my vote
Love 'em both, but Campbell easily wins the tiebreaker since that punk Jim trashed me. Go Campbell!!

fun stuff, guys! thanks!
Both are great but I would have to vote for Jeff. I like the shading and the expression on Wolverine's face is fantastic.
I gotta agree that the shading and Wolvie are great.

Hard to vote against THE MAN, but J. Scott gets my vote for the facial expression on Wolvie.

Stay off the grid.
J. Scott Campbell definately wins my vote. As cool as Jim's is, Jeff's piece is more dynamic.
Tough call. Went with Campbell cause Wolvie looks really pissed!
tought call, love jim but jsc's wolvie does it for me
